Christine Sweeney, a Toledo native, graduated from the University of Toledo with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and taught in Toledo Public Schools for nearly 20 years. Now retired, she serves as the Executive Director of the Art Tatum Zone, a place-based nonprofit focused on providing cradle to career support for students and families in the Junction Neighborhood. Christine has held various leadership roles in education and is a sought-after consultant due to her extensive experience. She also serves on the pastoral staff at the Tabernacle with her husband, Dr. Calvin Sweeney. They have been married for 26 years and have four children: Christina, Calvin Jr., Caroline, and Heaven.
